Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) is Central Govt of India scheme to
Provide Quality medicines to the Indian citizens at affordable price. It’s a
good opportunity to the Unemployed Pharmacist or
others who are interested to open a Pharmacy store, generally the following
steps are involved in the process of establishing a pharmacy store.
1. Need to select the place or area where the store can be opened
2. Need to upload the details on http://janaushadhi.gov.in/
3. You will get the mail from the Bureau of Pharma PSUs of India (BPPI) or the Respective team
4. Once You received the email, you need to approach the Drug inspector along with the print of the mail which you received from BPPI and also you will get the state marketing officer number on the mail for further guidelines you can also contact him
5. Produce the required documents to the Drug inspector office
6. Drug inspectors generally visit the store; check the premises and equipment which are to be kept as per Schedule N of Drug and Cosmetic Act.
7. After a few days or week, you will receive the license copy if the Drug inspector is satisfied on the visit
8. Once you received the license copy, you need to sign on MOU with BPPI on bond paper, the same has been scanned and mailed to the BPPI and you have to courier the hard copies to the BPPI Office.
9. Once the BPPI office receive your details, BPPI people will call you and allot a store code, install the software through Team-viewers or related applications
10. Once the software installed you can place the order and upon receiving the stock you can sell the products from your store
